Collaboration: African Diaspora Exhibition
The exhibition that unifies people through their artistic spirit

collaboration: (n) the act of working jointly.

Collaboration started as a showcase of artists, presented in homes, businesses and other alternative spaces allowing artwork to be viewed by clients in a realistic or unusual environment. It allows the artists to intermingle with buyers one on one and develop a personal relationship with the public at large
The concept of visual artists of diverse spirits working together to spread art appreciation in the community was the brain child of husband and wife artist team Anthony Burks Sr. and Trina Slade-Burks of A.T.B. Fine Artists & Designers LLC. along with jewelry artist and educator Lea Jefferson and fiber artist and consultant Barbara Cheives. It is an opportunity for art collectors and professionals to experience great art in inhabitable space and feel at home doing so.

A.T.B. in partnership with The Armory Art Center ( at 1700 Parker Avenue, WPB, FL) is hosting a Harlem Renaissance-style art exhibition showcasing 25 visual & 9 literary artists of African Diaspora. The African Diaspora concept is based on the historical background of the artists not necessarily the subject matter of the work.
